Back Attack!

Since my last blog Kristin's Jazzy Life (that focused on the trials and tribulations of an unemployed college graduate with a broken ankle who didn't pay rent and went out every night), I have grown tremendously. I have now been living in New York City for over a year, almost completed another degree, discovered I have a love for art business, and gave up wearing sundresses everyday (I still don't wash my hair). In honor of these positive changes in my life, I have decided to restart the blog. But this time, instead of being a big peach in a little orchard, I am a little peach in the big apple.

I have struggled as to how to set the tone for my first comeback posting. At first, I thought I should play the role of the cosmopolitan city girl but that seemed somewhat trite. So after about 5 minutes of struggling with this question (and not doing what I'm suppose to be working on at the gallery), I have come up with the idea to post all of the photos from my phone that I took because I thought they were neat and later discovered are irrelevant. Here's a look at a few good things in or around this city that are probably only interesting to Kristin Drawdy Sancken. Hopefully you can all contain your excitement, this is life in the fast lane.

Here is a little snowman I saw in Central Park in February:

A really, really big grocery store in Chinatown:

An eagle statue in New Hampshire on sale for only $900.00:

A string of Easter lollipops:

A picture of a picture of Jack in the Box guys:

A well full of whiskey:

A coffee cup with "Oh, I'm a happy camper!" written on it:

Luis' shoes:

Eric pretending to drink a very large gummy coke bottle:

A ketchup bottle that, wait for it, LOOKS LIKE A TOMATO!:

One of those stationary view looker things that is frozen and looks like The Punisher:

And here is the punisher:

Now that we are all caught up on the mischief I've been getting into, I hope everyone can rest happy knowing that I still have found time to appreciate the little things in life.

COMING SOON: How people in Georgia spend Memorial Day weekend. I'll give you a hint, it involves greased pig wrestling!
Merry Friday to all and to all a good night:)

  1. I thought that viewer thing looked more like one of those things from District 9 but now that you mention it, maybe its the Punisher
